Our story
Eighty years of Montessori, from Kolhapur to Ichalkaranji
Our founder, Shrimant Maisaheb Bavdekar, trained under Dr Maria Montessori and opened the first pre-primary school in South Maharashtra, in Kolhapur, in 1946. Today Tulips — which carries her name — continues that tradition in three branches in Ichalkaranji — learning by doing, with love and patience.
